everybody is waiting for something to happen but we're all balled up in the corner with our pinkies in our ears and every eye pulled tightly shut. we wont stop crying and we cant stop wishing for change. but nobody seems to be able to get up. even though my legs can walk, they're asleep and cramped up, and the tingling and uncomfortable feeling would be too much if i tried to move. right? we keep thinking we're locked in and that we can't leave but i swear i just saw the door wide open. if we only knew how free we'd be if we stood up and walked away.
