surprise me.

screened in porches and coffee on rainy nights are genuinely great. summertime is the best, however, friday introduces a whole new aspect. classes start and i'm trying really hard not to dread it. i feel like my summer is over and that bums me out.

driving home tonight was sleepy and rainy but i felt like i just wanted to drive and keep driving until morning... which is only 3 hours away, and that made it sound so logical to me... to just go wherever the road led, then get breakfast when i see the sun come up. but i decided to come home instead. i cant fall asleep because the rain sounds too perfect on my roof. i want to go outside and play in it.

another goal for the summer:

to learn to ride a fixed gear like these hipsters.
